I’m so excited that you stopped by! The Toni Goodie Photography Blog is where you will be able to get to know me and view my latest work. I'm a published wedding photographer based in Daphne, AL, servicing the Alabama Gulf Coast. To book with me head over to the contact page and let's chat!
This portrait session was near and dear to my heart. Hannah is my little sister. She is the youngest of 5 girls. I am one of the middle children. I don’t get to see Hannah as often as I would like because she and my mother live about 4 hours north of me in Cullman, Alabama. However, my family always likes to visit the Gulf Coast to celebrate the 4th of July. Hannah stayed at my house and asked if we could do portraits of just her.
The vision for her session, as she described it to me, sounded like a senior session. Hannah is 13 (I can’t believe that!!!) and the idea of her wanting senior portraits blows my mind. She will be in the 8th grade this year and will be playing for Hanceville Middle School‘s vollyball team. Hannah has such a cute style- off-the-shoulder tops with chucks and red lips is so fun. She is like any other teenager and likes to stay up late and take afternoon naps and I’m with her on that one (I love naps).
We ventured a bit down the road in search of a good place with one of my dining room chairs she snagged along the way and ended up at Historic Malbis Nursery. This historic building with beautiful vine-coverings and grassy fields was the perfect setting for my baby sister’s not-so-baby-anymore session.
I’m so blessed to be able to freeze time with portraits before she gets any older. Hannah is beautiful. Photographing her was too easy.
