Catherine and Justin are so cute together. I had such a great time with them as their engagement photographer. They picked downtown Fairhope as the setting to capture their engagement pictures. Catherine is from Fairhope and her small, southern hometown was the perfect backdrop. (You may recognize these two from a recent blog post
and their mini session from January). We really had an amazing time together.
We captured their images all over downtown Fairhope, starting next to Mr. Gene’s Beans
with Justin’s infamous “oyster shirt”. Justin really wanted to wear the oyster shirt back in January but chose to save it for a special occasion & what’s more special than your engagement session?!
The quiet Sunday morning and forecast for rain meant we had the town all to ourselves. We strolled all over downtown stopping for a cup of coffee from Page & Palette Latte Da
and posing for a special kind of smooch you’ll have to ask Justin about. Catherine wanted images in front of the local landmark mural wall and we made it there just before the rain finally came. The second time in front of my camera was clearly more natural for the couple. Justin looked so cool in his shades, posted up with his beautiful bride-to-be on his arm.
I can’t wait to photograph these two again for their wedding next March. With as gorgeous as Catherine was during their engagement session, can you imagine how stunning she’ll be on her wedding day?!
